Garlic and Beef Fat Flat Breads
Ingredients
- 350g Self Raising Flour
- 1 tbsp Baking Powder
- 350g Natural Yoghurt
- 2 Cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 Bunch Flat Leaf Parsley, chopped
- 1 tbsp Borough Broth Beef Fat
Instructions
- Combine the flour with the baking powder in a bowl
- Add the flour onto a clean surface and make a well in the middle
- Add the yoghurt to the well and slowly add in the flour from the sides using your hands
- Once the flour and yoghurt is roughly combined, knead the mix until it forms a smooth dough
- Divide the dough to make eight even balls, then shape and roll each ball into a round circle with a 1cm thickness
- Fry each flatbread in a dry pan, cooking them for about 3 minutes each side. You'll know they're cooked when they start to form bubbles on the surface
- To make the beef fat and garlic mix, melt the beef fat in a pan
- Add in the minced garlic and cook for a minute, making sure not to burn the garlic
- Take the mixture off the heat and add in the chopped parsley
- Brush the mixture onto the cooked flatbreads, add your chosen toppings and enjoy!
