Hot Chocolate with Bone Broth
Ingredients
- 5g dark chocolate buttons
- 1/2 tbsp Grade A maple syrup/honey
- 4 tbsp whole milk
- 1 dried orange slice/pinch fresh orange zest (optional)
- 1 stick of cinnamon/pinch of ground cinnamon (optional)
- 1 pinch of freshly ground nutmeg (optional)
- 324g (1 pouch) Borough Broth Organic Chicken Beef Broth
Instructions
- Heat the bone broth in a small pan.
- Add the orange zest and cinnamon stick to the broth and heat slowly until it briefly comes to a boil, then reduce to a simmer for 3-4 minutes.
- Add the milk to the broth stirring until completely blended.
- Add in the chocolate buttons
- Slowly pour the broth into each mug, ensuring the chocolate melts and blends with the broth, to do this well you must add the simmering broth very slowly mixing as you go.
- Once completely mixed with the chocolate, pour into a mug
- Stir in the maple syrup to taste
- Top with the rest of the grated orange zest and stir with a cinnamon stick
