These brothy nachos are a delicious twist on the classic, made with our slow-cooked Beef Bone Broth simmered into a rich chilli. It’s poured over a crisp bed of tortilla chips, then topped with melted cheese, fresh herbs, and your favourite extras. Warming, satisfying, and perfect for sharing, this is party food, Borough Broth style.

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp Beef Fat
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 large onion diced
  • 1 tsp dried chilli
  • 4 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 2 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp ground coriander
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 400g organic beef mince
  • 1 tin chopped tomatoes
  • 1 tin black beans
  • 400g cheddar cheese
  • 1 bag tortilla chips (we like blanco nino)
  • Handful jalapenos jarred
  • 250g guacamole
  • 250g sour cream
  • 1 bunch coriander
  • 1 pouch Borough Broth Grass-Fed Organic Beef Bone Broth

Instructions

  1. Put a deep pan on a medium to high heat and add the beef fat
  2. Add the onion and cook until translucent, then add the garlic
  3. Add in all of the spices and cook until fragrant
  4. Add in the beef mince and break down in the pan and cook until browned
  5. Stir in the beef broth and the tinned tomatoes and season well
  6. Cook for 40 minutes on low until the chilli has thickened
  7. Add in the black beans and cook for a further five minutes. Now your chilli is done.
  8. On a heatproof tray, add the tortilla chips and spread evenly
  9. Add a layer of chilli on top and sprinkle over the grated cheese
  10. Put under the grill for on a medium heat for 5-10 minutes until the cheese has melted and is golden
  11. Add on the rest of your toppings including the jalapeños, the guacamole, the sour cream and chopped corinader
