We've taken smash burgers to the next level by cooking them in our 100% organic rendered beef fat. Juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside, these are sure to be the star of your next BBQ. Ingredients

  • 400g organic beef mince
  • 200g cheddar cheese in slices
  • Handful of gherkins, sliced
  • 6 organic burger buns
  • 1 tbsp organic beef fat

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, season the mince generously with salt and pepper and mix together
  2. Form the mince into 8 equal balls and flatten slightly
  3. On a griddle pan, add the beef fat
  4. Once sizzling, add one of the burger balls and flatten down so the patty is thin
  5. Cook until brown and sizzling, then flip over to the other side and cook for a few more minutes
  6. Add on a slice of the cheese to the patty and cook until melted
  7. Remove from the pan and add the patty to a sliced burger bun
  8. Top with a gherkin and enjoy with a pot of our homemade gravy on the side for dunking
