GIVE BACK FRIDAY

At the end of November we are, once again, raising money for City Harvest through our Give Back Friday shopping event.

At Borough Broth our vision is to nourish minds, bodies and souls with our daily broth – we believe everyone deserves the right to access delicious, nutritious food. This is why we’re keen to do our bit to help raise funds and awareness for charities doing incredible work across the UK.

From Friday 29th November to Monday 2nd December we’ll be donating 20% of all sales from our webshop to City Harvest, a charity who redistributes surplus food across London and beyond. You can read more about them and their incredible work below.

So, now’s the time! If you were waiting to stock up on our delicious food bundles, a proportion of any purchase you make goes directly to helping others in need.

City Harvest

City Harvest was founded in 2014 by a small group of people in west London, who came together to address food waste and food poverty in the capital, forming London’s first food redistribution charity.

Their mission is to reduce food insecurity and protect the planet by diverting quality, nutritious, edible surplus food from waste and redistributing it to those facing food poverty. They believe that food connects us all and that sharing food is one of the simplest, most powerful ways of showing we care.

They take food to grassroots organisations that feed some of our most vulnerable and deserving fellow Londoners.
