Every weekend, somewhere in the UK, a gravy goes wrong. Too bland, too watery, too little, too much. As makers of Proper Gravy, we're on a mission to put an end to bad gravy...but we need your help.

Whether you've been a victim of bad gravy or committed a gravy crime you're finally ready to confess to, we want to hear from you. Report your gravy crime and be in with the chance to win £1,000.

And remember, we’re not in the business of making people feel bad; we're going after the gravy, not the gravy makers.

The hotline

The Gravy Watch Hotline is now open to confess and report your worst gravy offences. It’s a standard UK number, so calls cost the same as ringing any landline and usually come out of your inclusive minutes. Our Gravy Watch Investigator might be out when you ring, so make sure you have a listen to any messages he's left you before leaving yours after the beep. Just a reminder, we may share your confession on our socials. By leaving a message, you agree to our terms.

How to report a gravy crime

STEP 1: SEE IT. Bland? Watery? Just downright criminal? If something wasn’t right, report it.

STEP 2: SAY IT. Call the Gravy Crimes hotline on 0330 223 8411 and leave a voicemail, or email gravywatch@boroughbroth.co.uk with the subject "Gravy Crime". Tell us your first name and the key identifying details of the gravy in question: the shade of brown, the viscosity, and where it was last seen.

STEP 3: SAUCE IT. We'll investigate. Once the hotline closes, a panel of three judges will select a winner who, in the judges' opinion, describes the worst gravy crime. The winner gets £1,000.
